5 things for Georgia Tech fans to know Friday

1. One of the top prospects in the state will be making an official visit to Georgia Tech later in April, an indication that coach Josh Pastner is in the fight for a potentially difference-making signee. Pastner also likely has interest in two productive brothers who played for him at Memphis that are transferring.

2. Tech also has an official visit lined up this weekend with an under-the-radar prospect.

3. Forward Christian Matthews will be transferring from Tech at the end of the semester.

4. In spring practice, defensive coordinator Ted Roof has a major priority in developing defensive tackles who can be ready to produce this fall (myajc).

5. Tech baseball coach Danny Hall, whose team plays a three-game series starting Friday at Notre Dame, is hopeful for the remainder of the season after a 4-8 start in ACC play.
